As the Company’s Junior MLRO, you will be responsible for complying with applicable AML/CFT laws, international standards, good practices, Company’s internal policies and procedures.

As Junior MLRO in this role, you will:

  • Review and investigate internal escalations received from the first line of defense or from any other department;

  • Conduct investigations on suspicious activities and transactions. Ensure that such investigations are conducted without any delay;

  • Ensure and undertake all the necessary means to establish and maintain proper communication with the clients in relation to the performance of internal investigations;

  • Report on the suspicious transaction or activity, sanctions identified in relation to the Client to the regulator and/or law enforcement agencies, as well as maintain the registration of these reports;

  • Promptly respond to any reasonable request for information from the regulator and/or law enforcement agencies;

  • Assist in designing and maintaining the data share process and procedures in relation to internal investigations and reporting to the law enforcement agencies, etc.;

  • Maintain logs and records relating to specified scenarios such internal investigations, suspended accounts, suspicious activity reports and investigation details;

  • Proactively collaborate with other employees of the Company and in timely manner respond to queries from other departments;

  • Assist on any tasks related to AML compliance monitoring assigned by the line manager

The position directly reports to the line manager in the MLRO team – Senior MLRO.


What we’re looking for:

  • Gross salary starting from EUR 2400 per month based on qualification and experience

  • At least 1 year previous experience in AML compliance roles, preferably within a fintech or financial services environment

  • Great understanding of AML/CTF regulations and guidelines

  • Knowledge on a variety of business structures

  • Strong investigation and suspicious activity identification skills

  • Attention to details and precision in reviewing documentation.

  • Critical and analytical skills.

  • Strong written and verbal skills (both: English and Lithuanian).

  • Strong time management, work organization and multitasking skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external regulatory authorities.


Considerable advantages:

  • ICA or CAMS certificates would be considered as advantages.
